About Tileit
Hi!
I'm Julie Madden, the face behind Tileit. I'm based in Masterton but have worked all over the Wairarapa and Wellington regions.
I've always had an interest in tiling, and a few years ago I took on a personal project and I sought out the advice of a tiler friend. He helped guide me through that first job and that was it- I was hooked! My interest had blossomed into a passion, so I undertook training through two local tilers, working for them for 2.5 years before heading out on my own as Tileit in 2008.
Since then, I've been kept busy working on many interesting tiling projects; so busy that I've now got a fabulous assistant, Heather, and we've proven to be a great team.
Have a look through my site and you'll see that I've worked in a range of styles and mediums, each with their own technical and artistic challenges. I believe I bring a level of care, attention to detail and personal satisfaction that shows in the end product.
